Q: How do I get a copy of the printed English Edition Yellow Pages each year?
A: The easiest way is to send your contact information to us via email at yellowpages@online.sh.cn, and we will add your to our database and forward a copy to you each year. Or, you can call us at 5385-4017, M-F from 9am – 5pm.
Q: I have seen copies at several retail locations in town, is there a list of where I can pick one up?
A: Yes, but you have to be quick! Since we deliver our directories for free, they are quite popular and come locations may run out. Here is a list of distribution points as of June 2006:

Q: If my business is just getting started, can I get a listing on your website? In the printed yellow pages?
A: Yes, for both! We welcome new business information and can place your business in our online yellow pages the next day. Simply fill out this form, new/update business information, and we will call to confirm the information and ensure we have the details in our system.
Q: I have been contacted by a Shanghai Yellow Pages sales person, but it is not the same sales executive as last year. How do I know he/she really works for Shanghai Yellow Pages.
A: Excellent question, as recently there have been many “poseurs” in Shanghai acting as official sales executives from China Telecom or Shanghai Yellow Pages. First, you should insist to see their identification – all of our sales executives are required to have an ID when working. Once you have their name, you could contact our customer service numbers (96886 for Chinese and 5385-4017 for English) – only with these numbers can you confirm if the sales representatives actually work for Shanghai Yellow Pages. If you are asked to call a different number to confirm, then you should be suspicious. Lastly, be very careful when reviewing your advertising contract. The contract language should reflect “China Telecom Group Yellow Pages Company, Ltd.” – and the chop should also match this in Chinese and English, here is an example.
